What this means is that when your address bar reads https://www.idealdesktop.com, this address has been verified by a third party service that guaranties its authenticity, allowing our server to establish a secure encrypted connection to your computer's browsing session. This is the fundamental security measure that keeps the information you type into Ideal Desktop invisible to others on the internet. This is the same technology used by any typical e-commerce site to keep credit card transactions secure. |

We use the system ourselves for our own sensitive data and our interest is the same as our customer's with regard to keeping unwanted parties from snooping. For firewall security, reliability and backups, we've been working with one of the most established and reliable service providers in the country since 2003 to make sure our server up and protected from catastrophic failure. Database maintenance and management tasks are handled solely by the senior programmer. |

Yes, we can import your records, from any CVS file or spreadsheet. We can also manually type in records from any source. Setting up your contacts, groups,and notes can hold varied complexity depending on your needs. Contact us for a quote. |
Can I set up a shared access account so my employees can see only certain data ? |

You can set up an individual account and give the username and password to your trusted staff, however Ideal Desktop is not set up at this time to handle multiple users to a single account. It is recommended that access to your account be held only by yourself in order to keep its contents secure. Ideal Desktop in its present form is intended as a single user tool and not an enterprise level solution. |
